Psalms 46:1-10
God is our
refuge and strength,
a very present
help in trouble.
Therefore
we will not fear though the earth should change,
though the
mountains shake in the heart of the sea;
though its
waters roar and foam,
though the
mountains tremble with its tumult.
There is a
river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation
of the Most High.
God is in
the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God will help
her right early.
The nations
rage, the kingdoms totter;
he utters
his voice, the earth melts.
The LORD of
hosts is with us;
the God of
Jacob is our refuge.
Come, behold
the works of the LORD,
how he has
wrought desolations in the earth.
He makes wars
cease to the end of the earth;
he breaks
the bow, and shatters the spear,
he burns the
chariots with fire!
"Be still,
and know that I am God.
I am exalted
among the nations,
I am exalted
in the earth!"
No man is
an island,
entire of
itself;
every man
is a piece of the continent,
a part of
the main.
If a clod
be washed away by the sea,
Europe is
the less,
as well as
if a promontory were,
as well as
if a manor of thy friend’s
or of thine
own were:
any man's
death diminishes me,
because I
am involved in mankind,
and therefore
never send to know
for whom the
bell tolls;
it tolls for
thee.

Through no
fault of my own
I have become
a part of the plan
To share with
my fellowman
Image of a
pebble
Tossed into
a pool causing ripples
The words
that's written
should be
shared
Sage I'm not
-- naively cares
unaware of
things that follows
What I share
is brorrowed from "He"
Who reigns
upon my humanity
Share with
friends
So they will
see
Peace to bring
serenity.
